So here it goes...
1) go to run , and type "msconfig"......it stands for microsoft configuration.
2) there under general tab , mark the "diagnostic startup" , click ok and the OS will ask you to restart , I suggest u restart for sake of simplicity.
3) After restart , again go to run and type "msconfig".
4) This time , click on services tab and under it , U will find many Microsoft services among them , click on "plug and play" and the one that hav name like "Microsoft management I.." .There will be two of these Microsoft management , So check both of them.
5) After checking these three services , click ok , the system will again ask for restart and this time , u must restart.
6) After restart , go to run and type "services.msc" that stands for services of microsoft coorporation there , go to the service named "Windows audio"..right click on it , set its startup as either automatic or manual , and click on start ...the service will be started then. and thats it , the sound is enabled in the safe mode . Now u can listen songs and play movies in safe mode too...
I had done it in win XP....but i think it will be available in win 7 too....
