how to set access point on s40 phones without prov file

Follow this steps
-Menu>Settings>configuration>personal config. sett.

-press Add>Web
Account name:type the connection name
Homepage:set the homepage
Username:type username if it required
Password:type pass if it required
Use pref.access pt:choose "no"
-then press "Access point settings"
Proxy choose:Enable
Proxy address:type ip or any proxy
Proxy port: port for ip
Data bearer:choose"packet data"
-press on"Bearer settings"
Packet data acc. pt:type access point name
Network type:choose (IPv4)
Authentification type:choose (normal)
Username:type username if it required
Password:type pass if it required

No go back to Personal account and select the setting we alredy created then press option>Activate

Now we have to pending access point with this setting.

On personal space press option>Add>access point

-Account name:type the connection name
press"Access point settings"
Data Bearer:choose"packet data"
press"Bearer settings"
Packet data acc. pt:type access point name
Network type:choose (IPv4)
Authentification type:choose (normal)
Username:type username if it required
Password:type pass if it required

No go back to Personal account and select the setting we alredy created then press options>Activate
then restart your phone and DONE
